A quick warm up for a new environment prop. I used ZBrush to create a tileable brick texture. Then used the z-applink plugin to extract my normal directly from ZBrush.
Here is a hand painted prop I have worked on over the last week. The concept was done during my last week of 38 Studios (while I waited around) right before the studio let go all staff. It was a fun project. These screens show the final model and my concept. The breakdown of the concept is below, from line drawing to final rendering.
